Mineral contents (Ca, K and Mg) in various parts of garlic and during its growth were determined.
Large amounts of Ca were found in bulb during leaf-growth stage and in leaf during maturing stage.
Potassium which was presented about same amount in leaf and bulb decreased during bulbing stage and increased during maturing stage.
Magnesium content was smaller than Ca and K and it was very high in bulb during leaf-growth stage and in leaf during maturing stage which was found in case of Ca.
Result on mineral content of garlic determined by using Emission Spectrograph showed that S,N and Mo which are essential elements were not detected and Na, Al, Ni, Si, Sn, Ag, Ti and Sr were presented.
